If that display is set as a Active Display the Video Card will send a acknowledgment signal each time, causing the displays 1 minute no signal timer to keep being reset. Sense no Sleep Signal is sent to the display, the display keeps tring to find a signal, which with this HDTV it should turn off after 1 minute of no Signal being found.
